That’s One Way of Doing It

Silencing dogs just because you don’t like what they have to say (or they called you sexist) sounds pretty mean, but who are we to judge? It was probably the right call. Can you imagine if dogs could talk? That would’ve been wild. I have to admit, I’m kind of glad my dogs can’t talk. They’ve seen some things. Still, it isn’t fair that they can’t eat chocolate. That’s just petty.

It’s not even chocolate itself that is the problem, though. It’s theobromine, a molecule that dogs can’t metabolize. They make out better than cats, though, who are also sensitive to theobromine but aren’t tempted to eat chocolate because they can’t taste sweets! That’s right, nothing. Poor kitties! Wonder what they did to piss the big man off?
