Honesty is the Best Policy

When you’re a little kid, there is a lot you don’t yet understand about the world. For the most part, this is a good thing, because there is something wonderful about a child’s innocence. But can you imagine if we actually spoke to children like this?

If a kid finds out that someone is having a baby, there is a lot they don’t understand about how this particular miracle came to be. But as far as we’re concerned, kids don’t really need to be made aware of every truth that exists in the world before it is completely appropriate.
