Did I Leave the Oven On?

There are a lot of cliche excuses we all use in desperate times of need, such as when we’re stuck in a boring conversation and looking for a way out. One of these excuses is, “I think I left the oven on”. Sometimes, we don’t even use that as an excuse, and we’re concerned about whether we left something on and the house might catch fire.

We’re all forgetful sometimes, it’s only natural, and it’s easy to think that you forgot to lock the car, left something valuable at home, or left the oven on – even if the oven wasn’t even on, to begin with! And that feeling is gnawing at you until you get home and find everything in its right order. So, we can all relate to this meme!
