#28: Jaleel White

Jaleel White hit the jackpot when he landed a one-episode guest spot on the family sitcom Family Matters. He did such a great job playing the ultra-nerdy and hilarious neighbor Steve Urkel that he wowed audiences and turned his bit part into a leading role on the show. We have to wonder if he asked, “Did I do that?”

It’s hard to imagine this nerdy kid growing up, much less having children, but it’s true. He had a daughter in 2009 with girlfriend Bridget Hardy, but the couple has since split. Since Family Matters ended in 1997, Jaleel has remained very busy in Hollywood, acting in many minor films and guest-starring in many TV shows. He also does voiceover work.
