Defrost Your Chicken in the Snack Aisle
It’s common to find out-of-place items at supermarkets. After all, the shopper might’ve changed their mind about a product in their shopping cart. Although the nice thing to do would be to return the product to its original place, that might be asking too much.

But there are certain products that belong in certain places in the supermarket. For instance, meats and fish should always be either refrigerated or sitting on a bed of ice. If you decide you don’t want a whole chicken, don’t let on defrost in the snack aisle shelves! Now, everything the chicken juices touched could be contaminated with salmonella.
