Martin Sheen and Charlie Sheen

American actor Ramón Antonio Gerard Estévez, known as Martin Sheen, had a tough upbringing, and coming from a modest home, he’s climbed the ladder to success all by himself. Sheen married fellow actress Janet Templeton in 1961 and they have four children, including actor Charlie Sheen (born Carlos Irwin Estévez).

Although Sheen had a number of high-profile run-ins with the law and with different co-workers, he’s still one of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry. During his time on the popular sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003-2015), he was the highest-earning actor on television.
