Kim Basinger and Ireland Baldwin

Kim Basinger started a promising career as a model before she’s made her transition to acting in the mid-seventies. Throughout the eighties and nineties, she was known as Hollywood’s blonde beauty. She met fellow actor and co-star Alec Baldwin in 1990 on the set of The Marrying Man, and the two stars tied the knot in 1993. This was Kim’s second marriage.

Their daughter Ireland Eliesse Baldwin was born in 1995, five years before the couple separated. At 25, you can see how much Ireland resembles her mother. She’s followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a model and an actress, and much like her mother, who’s an activist for animal rights, Ireland is a prominent advocate for the animal rights organization PETA.
