Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. – 18 years

Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer star and Freddie Prinze Jr., the Scooby-Doo star, met on the set of the teen horror movie I Know What You Did Last Summer, but didn’t begin to date until three years later in 2000. In 2001 the pair got engaged, and a year later Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. had a destination wedding in Mexico.

Today, the couple has two children: a daughter born in 2009, and a son born in 2012. Of course, successful marriages always demand conscious effort and compassion. Gellar explained in an interview that just like any relationship, “you have to nurture it and take time with it.”
