Sting and Trudie Styler – 28 years

Is there anything more romantic than Shakespeare? For Sting and Trudie Styler, the answer is no. The pair met through their shared love of Shakespeare–but at the time, the legendary singer was married and the two were just neighbors. By 1982, they became a couple, but decided not to rush into marriage.

Instead, Sting and Trudie waited an entire decade before getting married! However, they definitely didn’t wait on having children. In fact, only one of their kids was born during their marriage! As time went on, Trudie continued to act with the Royal Shakespeare Company, while Sting became the frontman of the iconic English rock band The Police.
