#39: RuPaul and Georges Lebar

American drag queen, LGBT advocate, and TV judge gained popularity thanks to his reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race, created in 2009. Since then, he became a prominent figure in the LGBT community and a source of inspiration for many. RuPaul met his husband, Georges LeBar, in 1994 in an NYC nightclub.

After dating for over two decades, the two finally tied the knot in 2017. The two have a 13-year age difference- when they met back in the nineties, RuPaul was 34 while LeBar had only just turned 21. The two are open about having an open marriage, and perhaps their mutual trust is one of the things that keep their relationship so strong.
