Her first daughter, Mia, was born in 2000, and the couple got divorced the following year. She married director Sam Mendes in 2003, and their son was born later that year. The couple divorced in 2010, and she met her current husband, Edward Abel Smith, the following year. Their son was born in 2013. Even though Winslet’s breakups have been rather rocky, she makes sure to raise her three children in the best way that she can.
