Subtly is something that you can easily confuse with manipulation – but I’m pretty sure the friend from this entry did the latter. People who frequently manipulate others are often diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder, and I’m almost certain that this ‘best friend’ falls into that category. What a nasty trick to play!

The fact that she couldn’t even be subtle about it is what really gets me. She didn’t wait even a week before jacking the same coat that this girl wanted. I wonder if the ‘best friend’ got half of the weird looks that she claimed other people would get from the jacket?
