The Meaning of Friendship

If there’s one benefit of going through a rough patch with friends, it’s that you realize the true meaning of friendship. Sadly for this individual, they learned this lesson the hard way, with a scolding from a taxi driver too! However, there is apparently a science behind splitting taxi fares.

According to the Wall Street Journal, some economists believe we should divide the fare proportionally between each person. Others say we should just negotiate our way through it or follow the Nash bargaining system. If only this individual had stayed awake long enough to be able to do one of these!
