Life-Changing Crush

Sometimes, when we have strong feelings for someone, we do things we normally wouldn’t do, like base life-changing decisions on the person we are crushing on. Those decisions can set off a chain of life choices and events that wouldn’t have happened if not for that crush. Luckily for this woman, there were positive consequences.

She had decided to choose her university and degree choices based on the guy she was crushing on at the time. While she didn’t end up with the guy, she did end up traveling aboard, learning new languages and cultures, and growing into the happy and independent woman she is today.
