Precautionary X-Rays

If you have the misfortune of ending up in an accident, you probably know that it is recommended you get a medical screening afterward to make sure that you are okay, even if you feel fine and think that you haven’t sustained any injuries. Sometimes, other issues are found during these screenings.

For the mother and her two children that were brushed by a car while on a crosswalk, going to the emergency room despite showing no signs of injury made a huge difference. An x-ray led them to discover bone cancer growing in the boy’s leg. If not for the accident and x-ray, it probably wouldn’t have been discovered until it was too late.
