Extra Shift

There are jobs out there where you may have an opportunity every now and again to pick up an extra shift and make some extra cash. Sometimes, that extra cash turns into even more cash when you are able to find work opportunities that you wouldn’t have if you had taken the extra shift.

This person had decided to take an extra shift on their day off, putting them in the right place at the right time to run into their friend and former coworker who was picking up their last check. After talking, the friend set them up with an interview, which led to a higher-paying job – all because they took the extra shift that day!
