Stomachaches and Daycare

There are days when we are just not feeling hot. Stomachaches, headaches, or a cold can put us under the weather. Sometimes, we try and power through, but sometimes, we just have to throw in the towel and go home. For this person’s coworker, her mother’s stomachache saved her life.

The mother had already dropped her daughter off at daycare in the federal building in Oklahoma City. The mother’s stomachache persisted, and she decided to call off work and pick up her daughter from daycare just shortly before the building was bombed. If not for the stomachache, their coworker likely wouldn’t be here today.
