The Church Picnic

Sometimes, circumstances and events lead you to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Unfortunately, the seemingly unrelated actions we take can end up with lives lost and broken, which was the case, sadly, for this person’s uncle, who wanted to take his girlfriend to a church picnic.

The uncle was in high school at the time, and his girlfriend was pregnant. He wanted to take his girlfriend to a church picnic to meet his family, but because she was pregnant, his father said she wasn’t welcome there. His girlfriend left upset and was struck by a drunk driver. She and their unborn child died in the accident.
