Allergies and Birth Control

Who knew that slipping and falling could be the action that sets off a chain of events that ends with a pregnancy? For this family, one mother’s decision to wear heels to work caused her to slip and fall down carpeted stairs. She broke her leg and needed to stay and home and recover from the accident.

While she was at home recovering, she ended up developing allergies. Because of her new allergies, she was prescribed penicillin, which ended up interring with her birth control. She became pregnant, and this person is now an older sibling – all because their mother decided to wear heels to work one day!
