Like Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens’s name has become more synonymous with steroid scandals than his remarkable achievements on the baseball field. During his prime years in the 1980s, 90s, and early 2000s, Clemens was an unmatched force as a pitcher, earning him the nickname ‘The Rocket.’

However, his competitive nature led to controversial moments, including an alarming event during the 2000 World Series when he threw fragments of a shattered bat at Mike Piazza.
