Nolan Ryan, regarded as one of Major League Baseball’s fiercest and most intimidating pitchers, built a legacy of dominance and fearlessness. His toughness was never more evident than during a now-legendary 1993 moment when he hit Robin Ventura with a pitch.

Ventura charged the mound, but Ryan, at 46 years old, quickly put him in a headlock and delivered a flurry of punches, turning the tables on the much younger batter. The brawl instantly became one of the most iconic in baseball history.
