#14: Superheroes on a Budget

Superheroes dominate every corner, from TV screens to toy store aisles. While affordable superhero gear is great for kids on a budget, it’s worth questioning the true superiority of these diluted, everywhere-you-look versions of our favorite icons.

Spiderman and Batman, once icons of strength and mystery, now appear as if they’ve neglected their hero duties. Captain America, in particular, seems far from his robust, patriotic self, leading one to ponder: what happened to the super in superheroes?
