#2: Changing It Up

Some couples like to do traditional vows for their wedding ceremony. Others like to update them and do something different. It all depends on the couple’s style and belief system. This bride took it upon herself to switch up the ceremony, but she went about it the wrong way.

When the officiant got to the “for richer or poorer” part, the bride butted in and said, “for richer or richer and maybe for poorer.” Uh… can you make it any more obvious why you’re marrying this guy?! Have some subtlety. The officiant didn’t know she was going to do that, so the moment was awkward. The person who posted this said their marriage lasted a year. How surprising!
