#12: Stereotyping Is Not a Wedding Theme

Wow, this wedding story is so cringe-worthy, that we can barely stand to read it. This storyteller shared that their wife’s friend had the most awkward, uncomfortable wedding ever. This friend of hers was white and came from a very conservative, racist family. She was marrying a black man, and her family didn’t approve.

For some reason, this bride thought it would be a great idea to make their interracial relationship the main “theme” of their wedding. Yup, we know, this sounds like such a bad idea. The wedding colors were black and white, and there were other elements of the wedding that you can read in the photo above. Overall, this is not a good look. It’s not funny, it’s not “cute,” and it’s gross. We can’t help but wonder what the groom thought about the whole thing.
