#34: George Foreman

It seems like everyone has heard of George Foreman… If you’re older, you’ll know that he’s widely considered one of the great boxers of the last century. If you’re younger, you might be aware of his George Foreman Grill, which honestly is an enormously helpful kitchen gadget.

I don’t know how much of it comes from the boxing career and how much of it comes from shilling grills, but George has an impressive 300 million USD net worth. That’s especially impressive when you realize that he nearly went bankrupt in the 1980s due to some investments going bad. That’s quite a comeback!
