#9: Cherry Chopstick

Can you believe it’s been 15 years since Katy Perry’s hit song “I Kissed a Girl” was released? I looked it up for this article, and I’m still having a hard time wrapping my head around it. It’s been 15 years, and you still hear people humming or singing that song from time to time, which just goes to show how iconic it is.

And it’s not only adults who enjoy this song, but kids too. I’m not sure how age-appropriate it is, but that’s for another article. One girl was singing “cherry chopstick” instead of “cherry chapstick,” which is probably a good thing because it means maybe she doesn’t fully understand the meaning of the song and just enjoys the music…
