#33: What an Odd Response

This cashier went from cold to hot in the blink of an eye. It’s not Tadeusz’s fault that the cashier mumbled her question. There was no reason for her to be so affronted. Then to follow up with an exclaimed “BIRTHDAY BOY?!” is a bit extreme. Just wish the guy a happy birthday and ask if he wants his receipt.

This is one of those examples where you can tell someone doesn’t like their job. It might be time for her to move on to bigger and better things if she’s angry with customers for simple misunderstandings. Either that or she was nursing a migraine while checking people out. If so, she gets a pass.
