#3: An Unfortunate Misunderstanding

Note to self: never ask a male employee for a menstrual item by brand name. I’ll stick with the “feminine hygiene” section in the future because my brain would shut down if this were their response. I’m not sure I’d be able to function for at least a full five minutes while I processed precisely what he thought we do in the bathroom.

Score one for dad, though, for sharing this story with his daughter. I bet he was even more mortified than the woman who asked him. Also, it’s possible he could have worked in a hardware store, and in that case, it’s on her for expecting there to be Tampax on one of the aisles.
