#17: Hungry

We can tell this person was hungry during that brief exchange, because clearly, they had 7/11 on their mind. Otherwise, I don’t see how you could confuse “9/11” and “7/11”. Other than the eleven parts, it really doesn’t sound that much alike. They were probably already thinking of 7/11 when their friend brought up 9/11.

That answer was probably followed by a moment of awkward silence as their friend tried to make sense of it. I wonder if they ended up going to 7/11 or having a deep and meaningful conversation about 9/11. Or maybe both. The lesson we can take from this story? Don’t jump to conclusions when you’re hungry.
