#16: Fair Assumptions

Interview questions are always a bit daunting, and some are genuinely designed to throw you off a bit so they can take your measure. Still, Allen should have stopped to think for just a moment before answering because even though it’s an adult video store, I doubt they require live performances. That’s a whole different line of work.

The manager probably still tells this story today over dinner parties. That’s an epic response to such a mundane question. I guess Allen didn’t get the job based on the context clues, but I sincerely doubt it was due to this answer. Hopefully, he just found a different position on his hunt for employment.
