#59: How Do You Confuse the Two?

Someone always has to get in on the hashtag fest with utter nonsense, but at least this one is pretty funny. Chihuahuas do look a bit like baby possums and can certainly match their viciousness like no other. While this one sounds a bit made-up (we’re calling bull), there have been many instances of dogs being mistaken for other animals and vice versa.

One town had several lion sightings before it was discovered the owner had their Labradoodle groomed with a mane. Another woman took in a puppy and didn’t realize it was a baby fox until the veterinarian informed her. My favorite is the family that adopted what they were told was a Tibetan Mastiff… but was an Asiatic bear. How did they find out? Within months it weighed over 250 lbs.
