#28: It All Makes Sense Now

Like everyone, I’ve had my fair share of drive-thru disasters and rude workers, but this probably tops the list. The best part is that his ex obviously recognized his voice, but Pete was clueless until he reached that window. I’ll be honest; I probably wouldn’t trust anything I got if salt was already being served through the intercom.

Seriously, though, how awkward! Pete just wanted a good lunch without a side serving of animosity. Maybe I’m being too kind, though. Who knows what went down between the two. The ex might have had every right to be grumpy and rude. People do hit a new level of crazy when breakups are going down.
