#26: Family Affairs

This happens more often than we’d like to think. First the half-brother and now a cousin? I mean, I’ve heard the whole theory that women marry men who remind them of their fathers, but this had to be a mortifying moment for her. I’m honestly glad to see they never had a chance to hang out before this party.

The universe was looking out for this person, for sure. Who knows what would have happened if they’d managed some time alone beforehand. It’s not as if everyone goes around asking about familial relations on the first date, at least not by name! You might mention your mother or aunt, but without full names and backgrounds… we don’t even want to go there.
