#16: Lost in the Mail?

There are two ways this could have gone down, and unfortunately, we’ll never know which it was. Either the RSVP got lost in the mail for seven years, or someone finally went through that stack of mail on the desk at home and figured better late than never. The real question is whether or not they sent a nice “I’m sorry we couldn’t make it” check.

The best news is that this tweet didn’t come with the caveat of the letter being sent after the couple divorced! It could have been a much, much worse plot twist, in my opinion. Imagine they broke up a week before this letter arrived. Ouch. That would have been just plain awful, right?
