#12: Closure
The circumstances that set this plot twist in motion are fascinating and remind me of a Sherlock Holmes novel. First, a pocket knife is gifted and cherished. Second, someone commits a string of thefts. Third, a cop painstakingly writes down the details on the stolen pocket knife.

The thief then tries to either sell the pocket knife or show it to the wrong person. When it all gets added together, you have a bevy of crimes solved, all because someone gave a gift the recipient loved. That’s a Holmes storyline, for sure. I can even see him adding it all up in his head. Who knew these things happen in real life?
