An Unlikely Friendship

Having fish as pets is one thing, but this aquarium is taking things to the next level. They have fish, eels, and turtles, and somehow they all live happily together. They don’t just live together in the same aquarium, they even help each other swim around in there.

We’re not quite sure what’s happening there; is the eel aware of the turtle hitching a ride on his back? Is this some kind of a game they’re playing? The turtle seems to hold on to the eel so he wouldn’t slip, but how fast is the eel going? This photo leaves us with so many unanswered questions.
