My Spirit Animal

Sloths are often viewed as lazy animals, but that’s only half-true. We’re not sure they’re actually lazy in the sense that they aren’t motivated to do anything other than binge-watch Netflix on the couch. They do spend most of their time sleeping, and they move at a ridiculously slow pace due to their extremely low metabolic rate.

So, a lot of us feel like we’re connected to sloths on some spiritual level because we can relate to their “laziness”. We didn’t know you could raise a sloth as a pet, and we’re not sure it’s advised. While they appear to be very lazy and harmless, and they aren’t dangerous to humans, they aren’t particularly friendly towards humans, either.
