Mother Hen Strikes Again
We already saw how protective and motherly chickens are. Motherhood is inherent in them, whether they like it or not. This is another example of their protective maternal instincts, and a rather unexpected one: a chicken is protecting two kittens during a storm.

It doesn’t matter they are not her babies, or that they aren’t even her kind – when a baby is in need, a chicken is always willing to help. We never knew we could learn so much from animals, chickens in particular. The most important lesson we take from this is that chickens could make great babysitters.
