Sisterhood of the Traveling Farm

On the farm, when a joyous event occurs, such as an animal giving birth, the entire farm comes to celebrate. We’ve seen the animated film The Secret Life of Pets (if you haven’t it’s highly recommended), and we know it’s only a children’s movie, but we like the idea of animals having their own world, language, and relationships that us humans can’t understand.

This photo suggests that it might be true after all. These birds came to congratulate the goat after she had a baby, and meet the new little addition to the farm. How adorable is that? Perhaps animals do have a secret language we don’t understand, and they’re running their own secret world right under our noses.
