#45: What’s in There?

Someone overheard this drama between an 8-year-old girl and her dad while riding the bus. This dad foolishly thought he had cornered his kid into handing over her phone, but it turns out she had the upper hand all along. He threatened to throw away her phone if she didn’t unlock it and show who she had been texting, and her response was surprising.

Instead of giving in and listening to her dad, she met his threat head-on and told him to just toss it! Kids are glued to their phones these days, so this response was probably pretty surprising for the dad to hear! We’re sure he was being a good dad and trying to look out for his daughter. It’s best to know who they’re talking to on their phones for their own safety. Even if this little girl didn’t realize it, her dad was trying to keep her best interests in mind with his threat.
