#24: Spoiler Alert

This is a situation that goes to show that eavesdropping and then deciding to butt into a conversation can really, truly backfire. Someone was wearing an Avengers T-shirt while talking to their friend outside somewhere in New York. She was talking about someone dying and their death affecting them, and a stranger sitting nearby overheard that part and made assumptions.

Because of her shirt, this random stranger assumed the lady was talking about the plot of the latest Avengers movie. Turns out she was talking about the passing of her grandfather, which is very much NOT a movie spoiler. We have such intense second-hand embarrassment for this person who assumed she was talking about a movie. This is why you don’t insert yourself into any conversations. Honestly, why even try to talk to anyone, ever?!
