Pre-Cellphone Era Date

Dating in the pre-cellphone era was difficult. Or, maybe in a weird way, it was easier. Today, with social media and cell phones, we have so much added pressure to the dating world. We expect everyone to always be connected and available, not to mention how we can look anyone up and dig up dirt on them at the click of a button.

At the same time, it’s made our lives a lot easier in many ways. For example, when we show up for a date at the wrong house, we can simply pick up the phone and call (or text) our date asking for the correct address. Todd didn’t have this luxury, and so when he showed up at the wrong address, he had to spend the evening with a sweet elderly couple as they searched the phone book for the right address.
