#21: Aladdin
Aladdin, the charming titular protagonist of Disney’s Aladdin, is known for his dashing appearance and adventurous spirit. With his tousled jet-black hair, expressive brown eyes, and iconic vest and pants, Aladdin embodies the essence of a young hero. His character was originally based on the look of actor Tom Cruise, particularly his role in the film Top Gun. We don’t really see the similarity if we’re honest.

Aladdin’s pet monkey, Abu, was inspired by the character Abu from The Thief of Bagdad, a classic adventure film. Voiced by actor Scott Weinger, Aladdin’s character resonates with audiences due to his relatable desire for a better life, his wit, and his heart of gold. His journey from the streets of Agrabah to the palace and his eventual triumph capture the timeless appeal of Disney’s storytelling magic.
