#27: Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets

Jack Nicholson really had his rom-com moment in the late 90s and early 2000s. Any rom-com lover can tell you that As Good As It Gets is one of the most charming and emotional romantic comedies of all time. Jack’s co-star and romantic interest is played by Helen Hunt, who is 26 years his junior. 

Much like in Something’s Gotta Give, casting actors with a big age difference was done intentionally for the story. However, the age gap seems way less creepy in As Good As It Gets. These days, it’s way less likely to see on-screen romantic pairings like this. However, it seemed to work in 1998.
