#26: Jack Nicholson and Amanda Peet in Something’s Gotta Give
In the 2003 rom-com Something’s Gotta Give, Jack Nicholson literally plays an older man who prefers dating younger women. Because of the nature of Jack’s character, the huge age gap between him and his co-star Amanda Peet was intentional. Let’s still talk about it, though, because it’s weird and creepy.

There’s a 35-year age difference between the two actors, and that age gap is the main crux of the humor in the movie. Some people might find Jack Nicholson’s character creepy instead of funny, especially in a post “Me Too” era. Also, Jack’s character ends up falling in love with Diane Keaton’s character, who is Amanda Peet’s mom. That’s almost as weird as the age difference.
