You may have noticed that Margot Robbie keeps popping up on this list. What’s up with her getting cast opposite male actors who are much older than her? It might just be the way of Hollywood, but it’s definitely happened enough times for people to notice that it’s kind of strange. 

Margot starred as Will Smith’s love interest in Focus, even though Will Smith is technically old enough to be cast as a father figure instead. Age creates a strange and unnecessary double standard in Hollywood. Young actresses often get cast opposite much older men who play their love interests, but that never happens when it’s the other way around. When was the last time we saw an older woman cast as a love interest opposite a younger male actor? Just something to think about.
