#16: Emma Stone and Colin Firth in Magic in the Moonlight

Magic in the Moonlight is written and directed by Woody Allen, so it’s no surprise there’s a giant age gap between the love interests. Honestly, it’s a bigger surprise that he didn’t cast himself in the leading role. This guy is notorious for his love of huge age differences. If you know, you know, and we’ll just leave it at that. 

Anyway, Emma Stone and Colin Firth star in Magic in the Moonlight, and their characters fall in love. While Colin Firth has been and always will be a cutie heartthrob, we have to admit that the 28-year difference is kind of distracting. Us movie watchers can suspend belief, but only to a certain extent.
