#2: Bermagui Mystery

Have you ever encountered those mysterious stories where a group of people sail out to sea and never return? There is something about these stories that seem to creep us out… What happened to these people? Where did they disappear to? Did they want to get lost on purpose? These are the questions that keep us awake at night…

Why is it completely unsurprising that this particular mystery occurred in Australia? It seems like all unexplainable things happen there. Well, in October 1880, five men took a field-work trip to Bermagui to survey the new Montreal goldfields. However, the five men were never to return… Their boat was found near a place now known as Mystery Bay, but no one knows what happened to their bodies.
