Super Mario, with all its versions, is one of the most popular video games in the world. How popular, you wonder? So much so, that even cats dress up as Mario for Halloween. One of the game’s popular spin-offs is the racing video game Mario Kart – and this cat, dressed as the Italian plumber Mario, is Mario Cat.

Since the video game was first introduced in the mid-eighties, Mario has become a beloved character and a popular choice for a Halloween costume. When new versions and spin-offs were released, introducing Mario’s brother Luigi, the Italian brothers became a popular couples-costume. It was only a matter of time until the Mario obsession reached our pets.
