In the old folk tale “Little Red Riding Hood”, arguably the most popular fairy tale in Western culture, the wolf dresses up as the grandmother in order to gain the little girl’s trust.

In a surprisingly sweet gesture to the old folk tale, this dog is dressed up as the wolf, who’s dressed up as the grandmother. Or maybe he’s just dressed as the grandmother? Either way, this costume turns this scary character into something sweet and endearing, which, in a way, misses the point of the story.
